Whats your take on book cover design, and how it impacts a book success?

Are you happpy with your cover?

Nov 11, 5:58AM EST0

Well they say dont judge a book by its cover but we often do. We have to hook the readers attention visually first to get them to potentially pick up the book. So yes they are important to a books sucess. As for mine, yeah I  wish my cover was a bit more exciting.

when did you publish your first book?

Nov 10, 7:10PM EST0

Hi Ms_ Goodie. Angelic Confessions was published back in 2013.

Nov 10, 8:02PM EST0

What is your major target each time you write a book?

Do you self-publish?

Nov 10, 8:58AM EST0

Hi Paul. My target is to entertain.

Yes, I have self-published.

Nov 10, 3:38PM EST0

Where are you from?

Nov 9, 7:32PM EST0

Mid-west originally

Nov 9, 10:29PM EST0

What do your friends and family think of your writing?

Nov 9, 5:38PM EST1

They don't quite get it, but they let me do it anyway. I had one family member read my book and she loved it. That speaks millions to me.

Nov 9, 10:27PM EST0

Do you have a special place where you go to be inspired?

Nov 9, 4:26PM EST1

Usualy the computer. I love art. I like going and looking at art, fantasy art especially inspires me. Music does too sometimes.

Nov 9, 10:17PM EST0

Any website or resources that have been helpful to you as a writer?

Nov 9, 4:21PM EST1

Textnovel.com was very helpful when it came to testing audiences for Angelic Confessions. Writer Beware is a great place too especially if you are looking for a publisher or agent.

Nov 9, 10:10PM EST0

Anything you would like to say to your readers and fans?

Nov 9, 12:23PM EST0

A big thank you for liking my work. And Angelic Confessions    revamp edition is coming soon along with book 2 titled Angelic Awakings. Stay tuned!

Nov 9, 5:30PM EST1

Do consider yourself to be a successful writer? If so, why? If not, what would make you successful?

Nov 9, 12:16PM EST1

I would say yes and no on being sucessful. I write with no mission on being sucessful, but to perhaps touch just one soul and move them. I have done that. So therefore I am sucessful.

Also If your published that's a sucess to me cause that is your goal as a writer to be published.

Nov 9, 5:17PM EST1

Are your characters based off real people or did they all come entirely from your imagination?

Nov 9, 10:27AM EST0

The whole story came about from a reoccurring dream I was having so I guess that would be my imagination.

Nov 9, 5:05PM EST0

Do you sketch your storyline before you start?

Nov 9, 9:16AM EST0

No, I just have and idea and start writing having no idea how it's going to turn out. I love it.

Nov 9, 5:02PM EST1

Who is your favorite author?

Nov 8, 10:30PM EST0

Stephen King.  Anne Rice is a close second.

Nov 8, 11:48PM EST1

What genre do you consider your books? Have you considered writing in another genre?

Nov 8, 10:10PM EST1

My genre is fantasy mostly, but I have dabbled in children's books and in Horror. Discovered I am more of a psychological horror writer than gore and guts.

Thanks Kovthe27

Nov 8, 10:14PM EST1

Do you think that physical books will eventually become obsolete?

Nov 8, 6:49PM EST1

I hope not. I still prefer reading an actual physical book than reading it on a tablet. The way the world is going you never know.

Nov 8, 9:25PM EST0

Could you tell us a bit about your most recent book and why it is a must-read?

Nov 8, 6:20PM EST1

Well, I describe Angelic Confessions as a paranormal romance novella, but its a lot more than that as the reader finds out when reading the book. I think that is what makes it a MUST-READ. While familiar it is unique. A new fresh take on the angel romance story.

Nov 8, 9:32PM EST1

Do you have any hidden or uncommon talents?

Nov 8, 2:45PM EST1

Hi Giada! Actually yes I do. Most would not know this but I am fluent in American Sign Language, and I hold a 3rd-degree brown belt in Karate.

Nov 8, 9:34PM EST1

What is the most amusing thing that has ever happened to you?

Nov 8, 2:27PM EST0

I got hit on by a Star Trek Klingon. Yup.

Nov 8, 9:36PM EST1

What character in your book are you least likely to get along with?

Nov 8, 12:31PM EST1

Good question Tamara.M989! I would have to say, Arch Angel Michael. He is kind of the bad guy in the book it's complicated but yeah.

Thanks so much love your question!

Nov 8, 9:40PM EST1

If you could write about anyone fiction/nonfiction who would you write about?

Nov 8, 12:06PM EST0

I would have to say, Jesus.

Nov 8, 9:43PM EST0

What is the biggest surprise that you experienced after becoming a writer?

Nov 8, 12:06PM EST0

The biggest surprise was that I actually had fans! I would get random emails from people from my website wondering when my book was coming out. Now its when is book 2 coming out. It just surprises me. I write for the love of it, so it is great that I am touching people with my work and they are enjoying it.

Nov 8, 9:47PM EST1

Have you thought about joining with another author to write a book?

Nov 8, 11:55AM EST1

Yes, I have, in fact, I had started a collaboration with a fellow author. Sadly the other author fizzled out. The writing was mostly a hobby to them where for me writing is a career. So if someone was a serious writer/author I'd love to join another author in writing a book.

Nov 8, 9:55PM EST0

What do you love most about the writing process?

Nov 8, 11:11AM EST0

I love the writing part. They say there are two types of writers those who outline everything and then there are those who just write not knowing where the story will take them. That is me. I just write. I have no outline. I do not know how the story is going to end until I get there. I just let the characters take me on their journey. It's a joyful experience.

Nov 8, 10:04PM EST1

Of all the characters you have created, which is your favorite and why?

Nov 8, 9:54AM EST1

Hi Shilpa! Wow...I would have to say Pio is my favorite. His loyalty is admirable.
